We are committed to environmental welfare by protecting our natural resources and taking care of our
environment through sustainable agriculture and production practices.

We take all steps necessary to ensure that we do not impact negatively on the environment and to decrease our carbon footprint measurement.

Reducing our Carbon Footprint

We’re the first dairy company in Africa to publish our carbon footprint on our milk bottles.

In 2019 we changed our Fair Cape Eco Fresh Bottle from white PET to clear PET

See why we did this: PETCO Gamechanger Awards 2019

Since October 2018 we have been generating renewable energy at our milking parlor.

We capture milk/solids from separator desludge to prevent entering the municipal sewer system.

Had our Eco-Fresh carbon footprint measured in 2012 and reassessed in 2015.

We constantly strive to implement actions that contribute towards carbon reduction.
